**Attending Summer Bridge was an awesome experience because I got to experience what life in college might be or is. Throughout these past 6 weeks I formed new relationships with new friends. I find this really helpful because we all have the same goal which is earning our career here at Cal State San Marcos. I also had the opportunity to live here at the dorms were we had fun like every day. My roommates Alexis, Cindee, Darlene and I would always go to the pool or go eat anything to just have fun. Oh... we also would go to the gym, but we got lazy...so we stuck with the pool. The classes were fun because we got to see a picture of how classes are going to be once school starts. We learned from our career to how to use condoms. Having this experience was a really good opportunity and I'm glad I took it because I got a lot out of it.
**Coming to college is way different than that of high school. At one point of life I was scared about entering high school and now college. I have many fears now that school is going to start. I feel that classes are going to be challenging and it's going to be hard for me to keep up with.
At high school teachers were constantly reminding us of turning in all the assignments and here we're on our own. I feel that classes are going to be too much time consuming and that maybe at one point I'm not going to be able to handle it.
**In the strengths test the results was that I was an includer. I feel that no one should be excluded and I feel really bad when I feel someone is being left out. This can help me throughout college because if I include people, I'll form new relationships with new people. Another one was the communication skills. This would definitely help me because I'll know more about school and where to find things around. And then I got an arranger. I'm super organized with everything like my clothes, my school material especially having a planner.
